Where are we located?

We are at 380 Alps Road in Athens, Georgia, just down from the Beechwood Shopping Center and the Chick Fil A restaurant. We are on the same side of the street as the Chick Fil A.

What should I do when I arrive?

The best place to park is in the upper parking lot, closest to the Chick Fil A. You may also use the lot for the insurance company that is adjacent to us. Come in the double doors under the covered drive-through.

If you have nursery age children (under 3), come down the big stairway and turn right. The nursery will be on your right. Children through the 5th grade come into the worship service but leave for their own worship time about midway through (just before the sermon in the contemporary service and after the children's sermon in the traditional service. If you cannot find the nursery or have other questions, ask one of our volunteers.

There is a worship bulletin for both services that someone will hand you as you enter the worship areas. When you come down the stairs, the contemporary service on on your right toward the back of the building. The traditional service is in the sanctuary which is to the left.

What About the music?

The music in the contemporary service has a more contemporary flavor, including guitars, keyboards, and drums. It consists of classic praise and worship music that is both energetic and reflective. The congregation is invited to stand and sing along, using the music as a time of personal and corporate worship.

The traditional service has music that is typical of traditional worship, including an organ, piano, and choir. Most of the songs are sung from the hymnbook, which is found in the pews. There is instrumental music that includes both the organ and piano. A volunteer orchestra plays along with the congregational singing.

What is available for my kids?

We have a safe environment and exciting programs for our children during the worship service and on Wednesday nights. Our nursery is clean and staffed by paid workers. During worship, children not in nursery go to their own worship experience, up through the 5th grade.

On Wednesday nights, we have dinner at 5:45 p.m. followed by programs for children, including lessons, activities, and a children's choir program. In addition, there are special activities during the year for children and their families.
