  • Dr. Bob Bohler

    senior pastor

    Dr. Bohler has been the pastor since 1999 and has led our church through many seasons of transition and change, including denominations and facilities.  He enjoys preaching and worship preparation, and is the author of several books (Pass Your Faith To Your Children and Black and White - Two Different Perspectives, with Jamie Scott).  He and his wife, Kim, have 2 adult sons, Robert and John.  

  • Rev. Deb Trimpe

    Associate Pastor, Education & Outreach

    Deb has served ARPC since 2007 in the areas of discipleship,  outreach and student ministry, and holds a Master of Divinity and MA in Christian Education, both from Union-Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA.  She most enjoys teaching & leading Bible study and helping people find their place to connect. She hails from the Great Lake State of Michigan and is married to Skip.  They have 2 young adult children, Grace and Ben.  

  • Dr. Ken powers

    director of music

    Arriving in 2019, Dr. Powers directs the choir and the orchestra in the traditional service, as well as the children's choir, which sings in worship regularly and performs an annual musical for the congregation.  When not at church, Dr. Powers teaches middle school chorus and drama.  He and his wife, Renee, have 2 daughters, 1 of whom is married with their first grandson.  

  • Dr. Emma Pettyjohn


    Dr. Pettyjohn and her family have been at Alps Road since 2007 where she plays for the traditional worship service.  During the week, she is a Professor of Music and Chair of the Department at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, GA.  She and her husband, Marvin, have 2 young adult sons:  Calvin and Conner. 

  • Brittany Carter

    Praise team leader

    Brittany has been our early service worship leader since 2019, and leads the Praise Team.  During the week, she is also a Special Education teacher at Clarke Central High school.  She is the mom of an elementary aged daughter. 

  • patty brooks


    Patty has loved and served the children of Alps Road Presbyterian Church since 2006. Her primary responsibilities include providing curriculum and creative lessons for teachers on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, as well as fun "bring a friend" and fellowship events during the year.  

  • Nancy davis

    Office manager

    Nancy is the newest member of our church staff, having joined us in June, 2021 after moving from South Carolina.  She is the face of ARPC, and supports our pastors, staff and leaders very well.  

  • Marin Lonnee & Madison Walker

    Student Ministry Interns

    We are thankful to have University of Georgia students serve as interns for our 6th - 12th graders, and are especially blessed to have Marin and Madison.  Marin was born and raised at ARPC and has served as intern for 2 years.  Madison is beginning his 3rd year as an intern and hails from Grayson, Georgia.
