Christianity and the History of Science

Christianity has played a large role in the development of science over the past 2000 years. Many great scientists either were Christians (Newton, Galileo, Copernicus), or were deeply influenced by Christian ideas. This 10-week course explores subjects such as “The Newtonian World Machine: How Does God Relate to the World?”, “Is Everything Relative?: The Revolution in Physics,” and “Math in the Past: Discovering the Structure of Creation.” This course is for both scientists and non-scientists.

Presented by Michael A. Covington, Ph.D., Senior Research Scientist Emeritus and Co-Founder Institute for Artificial Intelligence, The University of Georgia
